Prospective Student Interviews in Hong Kong

Interviews are not a required part of the admissions process. The interview provides an opportunity for you to engage in a casual conversation with an Admissions Ambassador. Please prepare a couple of questions of your own and be ready to talk about yourself (not to recite your resume). We hope to learn more about you as a student and member of your community, and we also hope to provide information about UChicago that might be of interest to you.

Center interviews
Interviews for the 2017-2018 application cycle will be available after June 19 (Beijing) and July 3 (Delhi and Hong Kong) for first-year undergraduate applicants intending to matriculate in autumn 2018. Center interviews are conducted by student Admissions Fellows at the Centers in Beijing, Delhi, and Hong Kong.

Please note that interviews are not available at the Centers after August 11 (Beijing) and September 8 (Delhi and Hong Kong). If you are not able to schedule an interview during the summer session, you will have the opportunity to request an alumni interview after you submit your application. Please see Alumni Interviews for more details.

You may complete only one interview. If you have met with an admissions counselor, fourth-year student, or a member of our alumni for an official off-campus interview, you may not sign up for a Center interview. All interviews are considered equally in the application review process.
