As Chicago quickly becomes a hub for quantum science and the world’s leading technology, the University of Chicago is excited to bring some of the leading scientific minds of the future together (in-person in 2022!) for a free, one-week exploratory program. More information about UChicago Quantum Quickstart can be found
here
.
High school counselors and teachers in Illinois
are invited to nominate as many 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students as they’d like. Upon being nominated, students will be contacted to complete a brief application. The most competitive students will:
Be excited about math and science and have a foundational knowledge of Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus topics
Receive mostly "A"s in STEM courses
Fall in the top 10% of their class (or equivalent if the school doesn't rank)
Have a genuine passion for research and innovation
Educators can submit the form multiple times to nominate as many students as they'd like. Thank you for your help in identifying the top budding scientific minds! Any questions can be directed to Liz Schutz at
lizschutz@uchicago.edu
or (773) 834-3011.
Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
