2022 Emerging Rural Leaders 1 Nomination Form

The University of Chicago is excited to bring talented and passionate high school freshmen from across rural American together for a free, one-week enrichment program on our campus in Summer 2022. More information about the Emerging Rural Leaders program can be found here.

High school counselors and teachers from rural and small-town high schools across the United States are invited to nominate as many 9^th grade students as they’d like. Upon being nominated, students will be contacted to complete the application. The most competitive students will:

· Demonstrate a passion for community engagement and involvement

· Be excited about developing their leadership skills

· Have strong academic records and fall in the top 10% of their class (or equivalent if the school doesn't rank)

Educators can submit the form multiple times to nominate as many students as they'd like. Thank you for nominating your students for the Emerging Rural Leaders I summer program!
